Reporting to the Head of Programme, the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer will support Cesvi in analyzing trends, monitoring and evaluating programs.
Objective 1:
• Monitor all project activities and progress towards achieving the project outputs
• Recommend further improvement of the logical framework of projects
• Develop and monitor impact indicator for the project success
• Conduct capacity assessment on existing monitoring and evaluation systems
• Ensure the CFM is working well and complaints/feedback are received, documented and addressed.
Objective 2 :
• Monitor and evaluate overall progress on the achievement of results.
• Provide feedback to the project managers on project strategies and activities.
• Suggest strategies to the project managers for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing projects' activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate suck bottlenecks.
• Report, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual project status and progress of all project activities to the project managers and the programme team.
• Weekly field visit and follow up
Objective 3 :
• Develop indicators and a monitoring strategy for the project.
• Provide input, information, and statistics for quarterly, annual and other reports to project managers.
• Participate in annual project reviews and planning workshops, and assist the project managers in preparing relevant reports.
• Assist the project personnel with M&E tools and in supporting them in their use.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:
• University degree in a relevant field (Computer Sciences, Information Management, Statistics etc.) or any other relevant discipline.
Skills & Experience:
Essential;
• Minimum 2 years experience in M&E system implementation with an international non-governmental organisation.
• Fluency in English and Somali (written and oral)
• Proven experience in report writing.
• Advanced experience of MS Office.
• Demonstrable track-record in data tracking and evaluation, with the ability to support staff and partners on M&E methodology and analyse and disseminate information to a range of stakeholder audiences;
• Working knowledge of data/statistical programmes.
Preferred;
• Knowledge of Kobo is a Plus
• Previous experience with health and nutrition programs.
